When In Doubt, Write "F*ck Off"

A high school British student received 2 points out of 27 on his exam for writing nothing but the words "f*ck off" in response to the question: "Describe the room you are sitting in."
Examiner Peter Buckroyd had this to say about the situation:

"It would be wicked to give it zero because it does show some very basic skills we are looking for, like conveying some meaning and some spelling," Buckroyd was quoted as saying.

"It's better than someone that doesn't write anything at all."

Buckroyd said the student would have received a higher mark if the phrase had been punctuated.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind the next time I have an exam and can't think of anything to write, lol.
