Quick Thought About the Grammy Nominations

As if it hasn't already been confirmed that 2008 is the year of Wayne--The Carter III getting 8 Grammy nominations (including Album of the Year) makes it official. Congrats, Lil Wayne. White people finally love you. But all I know is that they better not let him win Album of the Year. That belongs to Coldplay for Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends. That album is the sh*t!

Also, why in the world was Beyonce nominated for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for "Me, Myself, and I"? Granted, it's the live version from the Beyonce Experience but come on! That was from 3 albums ago. Can we say "reaching"?!

You can check out the full list of nominees here.

Yeah I'm very proud of Wayne. He went from hollering "Biznite" to being accepted. He deserves it.

As far as Me, Myself, and I...*sighs* Is there like a new revamped version out or something? That's just ridiculous.
